Centurion Interdenominational Church

Welcome to

Centurion Interdenominational Church

Centurion Interdenominational Church (CIC) worships at the beautiful and historic Chapel of the Centurion located inside the moat at Fort Monroe, VA.

Our mission is to glorify God through worship and ministry that fulfill the Great commission as set forth in Matthew 28:19-20.

Our Statement of Faith is based upon and draws from all of the great historic confessions of the true Church of Jesus Christ. Recognizing that this church has congregants from many different denominational backgrounds, this church is committed to attitudes of Christian love and tolerance toward those holding different points of view on matters not addressed herein

Our Vision is to glorify God by leading people to a personal relationship with Christ and helping them to grow in their faith through worship, prayer, discipleship, evangelism, music, and service.

We are

We are an interdenominational church where those who love Jesus Christ and desire to serve Him consistently seek to glorify God and lead people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we pursue the Great Commission to win, hold, and develop people in their individual and corporate faith in Jesus Christ.

Bible based – we believe the Bible to be the infallible word of God, and of supreme and final authority.

Spirit led – we believe in the work of God’s Spirit in the new birth, indwelling the believers, and causing them to grow in the likeness of Christ, and filling them with the power to live a godly life and bear witness to Jesus Christ.

Prayer centered – we believe in the power of prayer, and we covenant to remember each other in prayer and to intercede for those in sickness and distress.

People focused – we are a church where all who love Jesus Christ and desire to serve Him are welcome to join in Christian community.
